Saudi Arabia’s participation at London Book Fair 2026 brought together literature, publishing and translation in a unified presentation reflecting the Kingdom’s cultural depth, institutional collaboration and international engagement.

Led by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, the Kingdom’s pavilion was held at Olympia London from 10 to 12 March 2026. The presentation was positioned as an integrated cultural experience, highlighting the richness of Saudi heritage alongside the evolving landscape of literature, publishing and translation across the Kingdom.

The pavilion brought together a range of cultural and knowledge institutions, including the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran, Darah, the King Fahd National Library, the King Abdulaziz Public Library, the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, and Nashir Publishing and Distribution. Together, these entities reflected a coordinated national approach to supporting the book sector and strengthening cultural dialogue on an international scale.

The participation aimed to introduce Saudi literary and knowledge production to global audiences, while showcasing ongoing developments across the Kingdom’s publishing and translation sectors. It also sought to strengthen the presence of Saudi publishers in international forums and foster professional partnerships within the global publishing industry.

This international engagement was further reflected in the visit of Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Saud Al Kabeer, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, to the pavilion. Taken together, Saudi Arabia’s presence at London Book Fair 2026 highlights a broader cultural direction in which literature, translation and institutional collaboration contribute to expanding the global visibility of Saudi cultural production.
