At AlJadidah Arts District, William, Prince of Wales joined artists and members of the local community to celebrate the role of art and culture in strengthening connections between nations. His visit highlighted the importance of creative exchange and marked a moment of engagement with the growing cultural landscape in AlUla.
During the visit, Matthew Knowles, Country Director of the British Council in Saudi Arabia, spoke about the Reflections exhibition, which features works exploring AlUla’s landscapes, heritage, and traditions.
The occasion underscored the strengthening cultural relationship between the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia, as both countries continue to build momentum toward the UK–Saudi Year of Culture in 2029.
