The Architecture and Design Commission is inviting practitioners in Saudi Arabia’s architecture and design sector to register their interest in a continuous professional development initiative designed to enrich knowledge, strengthen expertise and support long-term professional growth.
The Continuous Professional Development Initiative is presented as a programme that provides regular educational hours each year for practitioners in the sector. According to the official page, the initiative aims to support and encourage professionals to enhance their practice and improve their professional outcomes.
The initiative is built around four main goals: knowledge enrichment, encouraging innovation, maintaining professional competency and supporting lifelong learning. It approaches continuous professional development as an ongoing process through which practitioners can strengthen the knowledge, skills and behaviours required in their field through both formal and informal learning.
The target audience is clearly defined as practitioners in the architecture and design sector. The official page also notes that the initiative is supported through strategic partnerships with leading local and international organisations in the field of continuing professional development, including the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
By registering interest, practitioners can gain priority access to the platform and benefit from the available CPD offerings. Registration is available through the official Ministry of Culture engagement platform.
