King Salman Charter Award for Architecture and Urbanism

The award provides a structured platform to recognise architectural excellence and advance the application of the Charter’s standards within the Kingdom’s built environment sector.

Now in its second cycle, the award recognises built environment projects that demonstrate excellence in applying the standards and values of the King Salman Charter. It promotes high-quality architectural and urban outputs and supports a competitive design culture across the Kingdom.

The award invites experts and stakeholders in architecture and design to submit or nominate built or conceptual urban projects that reflect clear alignment with the Charter’s principles and its role as a national reference framework for the built environment.


The award is open to:

  • Architectural and design companies and offices
  • Owners of distinguished architectural projects
  • Individual architects and designers, or professional groups


Submission open from 5 February – 31 March.
