A two day forum will bring together cultural organisations, public entities and sector supporters to explore sustainability, institutional development and long term impact across the nonprofit cultural landscape.
The Nonprofit Cultural Sector Forum will take place on 15 and 16 April 2026 at the King Fahd Cultural Centre in Riyadh, under the patronage of the Minister of Culture. The forum will convene nonprofit cultural organisations, government entities, private sector supporters and donors, alongside a wider network of practitioners and stakeholders engaged in the cultural sector.
Positioned as a platform to strengthen the nonprofit cultural ecosystem in Saudi Arabia, the forum will focus on key areas including institutional capacity building, sustainable operating models, diversification of funding sources, strengthening partnerships, improving spending efficiency and measuring cultural and social impact. It forms part of broader efforts to support sector growth, reinforce governance and expand the role of nonprofit organisations in cultural development across the Kingdom.
The programme will feature a range of knowledge based and practical activities, including dialogue sessions, workshops, advisory meetings, 360 meetings, as well as dedicated platforms such as the Inspiration Platform and the Empowerment Gateway. Together, these elements are designed to support professional exchange and provide practical tools for organisations working in the sector.
The forum also creates opportunities for participants to connect with specialists, explore applied approaches to sustainability and learn from both local and international experiences in nonprofit cultural development.
Through this gathering, the forum aims to enhance institutional and financial readiness, support the localisation of leading practices and strengthen alignment between entities operating within the sector. It contributes to a more structured, resilient and impactful nonprofit cultural landscape in Saudi Arabia.
